You have probably been watching Kevin Tetz on television for years, be it the hit show Trucks on Spike TV or his current Amazon Prime TV show Hands On Cars. Cetane, (the cetane number or cetane rating) is a measurement of the combustion rate of diesel fuel, and the compression needed for ignition. Think of it like the octane rating for gasoline. C-Tane is the name of the project on this wild 1967 Chevy C10. It is all based on word play. C-10…Cetane…C-Tane.

Kevin Tetz was just getting started on this pro touring C10 truck project. Coincidentally,  his close friend and fellow TV personality Ian Johnson from Big Tire Garage told him he had an ISV 5.0L Cummins V8 Diesel engine out of a 2016 Nissan Titan truck sitting in his shop. As a result, the idea was born to mate the two.  In an effort to create a truly track-ready pro touring C10, Kevin decided to place the engine with a 26 inch setback, making this truck a mid-engine, turbo diesel-swapped, race ready monster.

This is truly a unique build, a first of its kind.
