So, this is where it all started, with this medium bright blue 1970 Mustang Mach 1. This was the first video ever filmed by the GearHeadTour crew. Yes, it’s a little amateur.

Yes, there *might* be an audio problem here or there. But this is where we started our journey into making YouTube videos. And we love it.

The 1970 Mustang Mach 1 was complete bad-assery back in the day. I can tell you that when you drive this car around the streets of downtown Nashville, Tennessee that you will get just as many looks, shout outs and double takes (if not more) while passing by than if you were slipping past the crowd in a new Lamborghini Aventador.  The 7.0 liter engine makes an amazing grunt when you press the pedal to the floor. That 428 cubic inch Cobra Jet motor from Ford produces 335 horsepower and a whopping 440 lb-ft of torque.

Since this was our first time ever trying to shoot video for our YouTube channel, we made the mistake of underestimating the amount of time that it takes to make a great video. You see, we actually filmed THREE videos on this day. Trying to do more than one was an error, and doing three was insane. So, the video is a little short, but what is there is some beautiful footage of this classic American muscle car. But, despite the time crunch on the production, we managed to produce a pretty cool segment.  It doesn’t hurt that the car looks and sounds incredible.

Amanda Mertz, Paul Ranney and the crew from GearHeadTour fully enjoyed our time with this awesome piece of automotive history.  The 1970 Mustang Mach 1 was truly a fun car to drive.  Be sure to check out the video over at YouTube. When you get there, leave a comment about what you think of the car. We would love to hear your opinions.  Be sure to head over to the YouTube channel and watch the video on this cool car.
